Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane says he wants his long-running cartoon pulled from Fox as long as it continues to keep serial racist Tucker Carlson’s show on the air.

“Tucker Carlson’s latest opinion piece once again makes me wish Family Guy was on any other network,” McFarlane wrote on Twitter. “Look, Fox, we both know this marriage isn’t working anymore. The sex is only once a year, I don’t get along with your mother, and well… I’ve been having an affair with NBC.”

Carlson’s show is the centerpiece of Fox News’ primetime lineup and has been used to push racist stories biased against Blacks and Latinos. Carlson also has spread disinformation and lies about the COVID-19 virus as well as the vaccine. This behavior has led many advertisers to pull their products from Carlson’s show but has not deterred the network owned by Australian media mogul Rupert Murdoch from continuing to run the program.

McFarlane has brought in millions for Fox via Family Guy and other projects like The Orville, and publicly lashing out at the network gives the outlet another black eye in full view of the public.
