A fellow Republican has filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC).

The complaint was filed by a staffer for Rep. David McKinley (R-WV) who was reportedly yelled at by the first term pro-Trump Cawthorn.

“The exchange was witnessed by multiple McKinley aides, who saw Cawthorn as raising his voice and dressing down their colleague. At one point, he told the legislative staffer to lower her voice because she was speaking to a member of Congress,” Politico reported.

The outlet reports that after the altercation there continued to be a shouting match between Cawthorn and McKinley. Apparently Cawthorn wanted his name removed from a bill.

Before he was elected, Cawthorn was under fire for a visit to Adolph Hitler’s vacation home and allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior. Since his election, Cawthorn has spread conspiracy theories and argued against COVID-19 vaccines and masking.
