NRA Nation: Shooting Outside Nationals Park Rocks MLB Game
Shooting outside Washington Nationals game creates panic.
A shooting outside Nationals Park in Washington DC on Saturday night has rocked Major League Baseball. Social media was flooded with videos and reports of chaos at the game as both players and the crowd scattered after loud booming noises were hears.
Washington DC police reported that at least one person was shot outside of the stadium.
Fans were initially told to stay in the stadium rather than run for the exits. After, they were told to calmly exit.
The game, between the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres, was halted before completion due to the incident.

MPD is responding to a shooting in the 1500 block of South Capitol Street, SW, in which two people where shot outside of Nationals Park. This is currently an active investigation and it appears there is no ongoing threat at this time.
