GOP Invites White Couple Who Pointed Guns At Black Protesters To Speak At Convention

Republicans have invited the notorious St. Louis couple who pointed guns at nonviolent Black Lives Matter protesters to speak at the party’s convention.

Patricia and Mark McCloskey will be guests of Donald Trump as the Republican Party nominates Trump and Mike Pence to be their nominees.

“A spokesman for Trump Victory and a Republican official confirmed to CNN later Monday that former Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann, Andrew Pollack, the father of Parkland shooting victim Meadow Pollack, anti-abortion activist Abby Johnson, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and Pennsylvania congressional candidate Sean Parnell will also be among the speakers at the Republican convention,” CNN reported.

Donald Trump and others in the Republican Party have attacked the Black Lives Matter movement and praised Trump for his pro-racism rhetoric.

By contrast, the first night of the Democratic Convention featured the family of George Floyd, who was killed by a police officer. The Black Lives Matter movement was also praised and supported by multiple speakers at the convention, most notably First Lady Michelle Obama.
