Clay County, Florida Sheriff Darryl Daniels sent harassing texts to a woman and illegally used law enforcement resources to find her personal information, cops now say.

Daniels endorsed Donald Trump for reelection and was recently arrested as part of an investigation into the sex scandal.

Armeshia Johnson, the woman, told a local station that Daniels texted her about her “big girl panties.”

“At this time, I can say that it almost brings me to tears that I am very scared for my safety because Darryl knew so much about me. He knew the VIN number to my car. He knew where I worked, where I lived, and it’s scary,” she said.

The police report on Daniels said he got her telephone number and address through law enforcement databases, a breach of security.

Johnson said the sheriff “abused” his power while hunting her down.
