Donald Trump And Russia

Documenting the connection between Donald Trump and the Russian government of Vladimir Putin.

Trump’s Russia Connection

Trump’s election team was in constant contact with Russian intelligence during 2016. Trump claimed the story was “conspiracy theories and blind hatred,” and the Kremlin denied it.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said that the story was a “game changer” and a Select Committee to investigate the Trump-Russia connection may be needed.

Michael Flynn Russian Connection And Firing

Trump’s first national security adviser, General Michael Flynn, resigned after it became public knowledge that he had extensive contacts with the Russian government.

11 Democratic Senators called for an independent special counsel to investigate Flynn.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Attorney General Jeff Sessions should recuse himself from a probe of Flynn, since he was part of Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Despite being the one that let Flynn go, in a news conference Trump claimed that he was a “good” person and that he was the victim of “fake news.”
